	Door lock Ring Light Conversion Guide
	This is the last thing that can be converted to blue, assuming you have changed everything in the interior, the drivers door lock ring light. I have spoken to several Supra owners, and some have not even realised that there is a door light ring light! It does appear the some cars have the ring light and some do not. Unfortunately this is one conversion I cannot do on an exchange basis, unless you fancy dismantling the lock it self!
	Tools Required Philips Screwdriver Flat Bladed Screwdriver Craft Knife Soldering Iron File Parts Required 1 x 3mm Blue LED 2 Small Cable Ties Electrical Tape

In order to do the mod, you will need to remove the drivers door card.. If you do not know how to remove the door card, follow these instructions
If you look through the hole, you will be able to see the back of the door lock and its securing screw, you should also be able to see a lever pointing to the right which connects the door lock to the door lock catch.
Step 1 Unscrew the 2 large screws which secure the door handle and lock to the door. You will find it easier to remove the lock securing screw if you hold the door handle open as it moves a rod out of the way
Step 2 If you look at the back of the door lock, you will see a lever with a coloured clip attached. the clip is connected to a rod which goes to the lock catch Disconnect the rod by unclipping the clip. Disconnect the multi-plug. Pull the handle away from the door and remove the lock mechanism from the inside the door by pulling towards you.
Step 3 Now that you have removed the lock, you can Cut any cable ties off Remove the plastic attachment from the lock (remember which way it fits!) Remove the old LED, becareful not to leave any bits in the hole
Step 4 File two flat edges on to the LED, so that it fits snugly into the rectangular hole in the lock
Step 5 Cut as close as possible to the back of the old LED Strip the two wires back 5-10mm Solder the new LED onto the wire Make sure you connect the negative leg of the LED to the White/Black wire - very important otherwise the LED will not work!
Step 6 Insulate the two connections with electrical tape Insert the LED into the rectangular hole Secure the LED in place with a cable tie But the plastic attachment back on, in the same orientation as before you removed it Secure it with a cable tie
Step 7 Fitting of the door lock is the opposite of removal Fitting of the door trim is the opposite of removal
Your door lock should now look a bit like this at night
